Yes I said Trimble GNSS Planning “ONLINE”. In the past you would have had to download the desktop version of the Trimble GPS Planning software and then download a new GPS Almanac file each time you wanted to use the software.

You can choose GPS only or GPS and Glonass viewing options with this online software — comes in handy for Trimble Geo 6000 GNSS (with Floodlight) and ProXRT with GNSS.
There are 8 different modes to select:
- Settings
- Satellite Library
- Elevation
- Number of Satellites
- DOPs
- Visibility
- SkyPlot
- Worldview
Click on “F11″ and you will see a Full Screen of the GNSS Planning website.
It’s a 24 hour GNSS Planning tool vs. the 12 hour option in your Trimble software in the field. In the Settings you can type in your Lat/Long or the City, setup your Elevation Masks, Obstructions and Time (# of hours into the future).
Or you can use the 12 hour GPS Plan on your GPS unit. Look under the “Status” menu and click on Skyplot to change it to “Plan”. This can be done in TerraSync, GPS Correct, CartoPac and or GPS Controller field software.
